What is a webinar? You may or may not be familiar with the term. A “Webinar” is short for Web-based seminar, a presentation, lecture, workshop or seminar that is transmitted over the Web. A key feature of a “Webinar” is its interactive elements -- the ability to give, receive and discuss information. This is in contrast with a “Webcast”, in which the data transmission is one way and does not allow interaction between the presenter and the audience. All webinars are available to purchase for download after the live event. (Usually 24-48 hours afterwards). Go to http://wltc.webex.com. On the left hand side, under "Attend a Session," select "Recorded Sessions." The recorded Webinars are downloaded in a windows media player format, which is accesible by PC and Mac computers. When the download completes, you get to pick a more convenient time for you and your team to watch the webinar.
